I’m Edgar Mendez, a Civil Engineer by training who moved to the U.S. over a decade ago. Leaving my native country to escape dictatorship meant starting over. Instead of revalidating my degree, I made the decision to turn my lifelong passion for cars into a business. What started as an idea in 2018 came to life in 2019 as Keep Clean ATX. One phrase from my father has always guided me: “If you’re planning to do something, do it right, or don’t do it at all.” That philosophy drives everything we do. Whether it’s restoring interiors to like-new condition, repairing details most shops overlook, or applying our knowledge from years of working on engines and transmissions, we treat every vehicle with the same care as our own. Behind Keep Clean ATX is not just me, but my family. My wife, Yoliseg, brings her eye for perfection and passion for cleanliness. My son, Gabriel, started learning the trade at just 12 years old and is now a professional detailer. And my brother, Miguel, joined us in 2021, bringing dedication and craftsmanship to the team. Together, we’ve built a family business that Austin drivers can trust.
